You could call it hiatus...

But we call it working our asses off. Although we haven't seemed active, my dear Cleaver, we have been burning the midnight oil and the 3 AM oil to bring you Asbestos in ways would could never imagine.

This fall, we have been preparing to release our next album, but also, a pre-album EP or single which we are calling "Single, and Ready to Mingle." This EP will feature career spanning fan favorites as well as a few songs from the new double album (Life Incorporated/Music Is Words) which we expect will grab your attention:
Effeminate
Prohibition
Transient
Jesus Was No Commando
My Sister's Hanging Out at the Disco
Solipsist
For the People, By the People
Destroy the Wall
and Legalize Heroine in Virginia

BUT ALSO:
Asbestos will be embarking on our second tour this Thursday. We hope to make the "Snowbird Tour" a tradition as old people make it a tradition to migrate south for the winter. The Snowbird Tour will be our attempt to find warmth and enjoy the open road again with out needing to wait until summer.

This winter, we will be playing:
January 7th- Richmond, Virginia: The Triple
January 8th- Bluefield, West Virginia: The Rock-It Club
January 12th- New Orleans, Louisiana: The Dragon's Den
January 14th- Miami, Florida: The Wallflower Gallery
January 16th- Savannah, Georgia: The Wormhole
January 17th- Fayetteville, North Carolina: The Rock Shop

And for the faithful CleavNation, who was left wanting this fall and wondered if thou hast been forsaken by thine Asbestos, we assure you, we will update you every step up the way as we venture into the deep south, whenever we may be able to steal or otherwise obtain "for free the internets."

We hope you all had a happy Hanukkah, merry Christmas, happy Kwanzaa, happy New Year celebration, or politically correct Non-Denominational Winter Holiday Season Type of Celebration.

'Til next time,
-Asbestos
